1. Is every class live, with a teacher present? Phrase it exactly that way. "Interactive" and "self-paced with mentor support" usually mean recorded video.
2. Who teaches — and do they write code professionally? Many platforms scale by hiring students to read from a script. The difference shows the first time a child asks something off-script.
3. How many children per batch? Above roughly eight, your child is watching rather than coding.
4. Is there a free trial class? Any provider confident in its teaching will let your child try first.
